About Me

Hello there! I’m Matt. Welcome to my first blog, where we will discover many fun facts and curiosities about the vast world of science. I’m 14 years old, and I’ve always been passionate about physics and mathematics. I decided to start this blog as a writing exercise. I recently got a C1 English degree, and not everybody knows how easy it is to lose fluency in a language if you don’t practice regularly.

I called this project “Blog of a Real-Life Sheldon Cooper” for many reasons: I’ve watched The Big Bang Theory many times. I have always admired Sheldon ‘s intelligence and quirks, and I see myself in him to some extent. Sheldon Cooper, in the TV show, is a brilliant and successful theoretical physicist who has some difficulties understanding emotions, jokes, and social cues. I also love his obsession with comic books and superhero culture. I can relate to his struggles with social interactions and his love for all things nerdy.

Don’t you think that if I were wrong, I would know it? S. Cooper

This is by far the craziest project I’ve ever done. I also had the possibility to organise and present a Ted Talk in front of the most renowned English professors in my area! In that PowerPoint, I explained my joy of learning and why I’m putting so much effort into it. I’ve been learning a ton of things!

I know how to play the piano, how to read braille, I can understand (more or less) Morse code, and I do really well at school.

In conclusion, I’m always learning and excited to discover more about the wonders of the universe. From the mysteries of quantum physics to the secrets of biology, I love sharing my journey with you. Let’s keep our curiosity alive and learn together. Thank you for joining me on this amazing adventure!
